At the time when Procuratorial Daily witnessed its 25th anniversary and People's Procuratorial Monthly witnessed its 60th anniversary, Supreme People’s Procuratorate held the seminar about innovative development of procuratorial theory in socialism with Chinese Characteristics on June 28th. Chairman LI Yong, as the vice president of Chinese Foundation for the Education of Public Procurators, attended the seminar and made a speech. HU Zejun, deputy secretary and executive deputy chief procurator of Supreme People’s Procuratorates, hosted the seminar and addressed, other critical leaders attended the seminar, including LI Rulin (member of Supreme People’s Procuratorate Party and deputy chief procurator), WANG Shaofeng (member of Supreme People’s Procuratorate Party and director of Political Department) and JING Dali (chief procurator of Supreme People’s Procuratorate) etc.
Focusing on the spirit of speech made by Chairman XI Jinping when he addressed on Seminar for Philosophical & Social Science Work, all the attendees had a deep discussion on that how to actively establish procuratory theoretical system in socialism with Chinese characteristics. On the seminar, Chairman LI Yong highly evaluated the progresses and development which have been made by people’s procuratorate industry since the foundation of China, especially since the Reform and Opening; besides, he briefly recalled the support and contribution done by the Group Company to the education of public procurators especially to the education and training for procurators at the remote and border areas. He announced that the Group Company, by well summing up the lessons and experiences in the past, will work harder to support the development of people’s procuratorate industry. What he addressed on the seminar was welcomed by all the procurator representatives, scholars and experts.
